Day 10

I was baking this morning and as I poured the oil into the cup I noticed the neat reflections of light that hit the oil. So I grabbed my camera and shot at a bunch of different angles. Thankgoodness for the telephoto lens that hides my messy kitchen!

Day 9

Today was filled with basketball portraits. I have been contemplating this one of my daughters team for months. So I'm happy to have accomplished it!

Day 4

I must have looked silly to the neighbors laying down on the driveway shooting up to take this picture. At least it was 30 degrees outside!

Day 2

I will admit I went out earlier in the day and took some pics of the front window reflection of some trees. Well it did not turn out as I had hoped so I did a reshoot... This is out our back window near about an hour before sunset. I love the definition of the clouds in this shot. What looks like blue sky is actually clouds but thats the color they were turning on my whitebalance selection I had.. kind of neat!

Day 1

I've been contemplating this self assignment for several years now. To create one image every single day. Kind of like the movie "Julie and Julia'. Also inspired from a photographer named Jim Brandenburg. Altho Brandenburg literally only exposed one picture on his camera for a certain number of days in the deep northern woods of Minnesota. I will post one picture but my thought is to play with the camera settings so I can get it just right. I'm hoping this self assignment will be both inspiring and challenging.

So today I looked around to see what I could see in my world and hopefully tell its story...

As I was looking around I saw the blueberry bushes on my deck. I planted them in pots this past summer and was suppose to bring them to the garage for a little more shelter. Well it never happened. I hope they survive the winter.
